What To Bring To Orientation

New Students at Orientation

YOUR STUDENT ID NUMBER! This number is REQUIRED in order to have your Hokie Passport (ID) made and is needed for class registration. This number was included in your offer of admission from the Admissions Office and begins with "90".
Drivers license or other photo ID – You MUST have it in order to have your HOKIE PASSPORT (ID) made. This ID will be made during Check-In on the morning of the first day.

Two wallet size facial photos needed for your college session on Day 2.

Comfortable, cool clothes – orientation is casual 
A sweater/sweatshirt for air-conditioned meeting rooms is suggested
An alarm clock – no wake-up service available
A fan - There is no AC in the residence hall
A towel, washcloth, sheets, and pillow are provided! No need to bring your own 
List of AB/IB/Dual-Enrollment courses you've taken
